I bought the expansion pack from Amazon, got sent a key and downloaded it on Origin, no problems. However, I did not receive the bonus items that are meant to be available if you buy the game before September 8.

@EA_Cade Same as the others, I input my code and redeemed, and installed the Expansion Pack. For some reason I have 2 copies of HSY visible in my Game Library on Origin and in my Packs list in the Main Menu. The Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content isn't available even if on Origin it shows I own both copies of the EP visible. I cannot seem to download the second one as well.
If it helps, I won the code in a giveaway from an EA content creator but the code was redeemed with no issues.
I've just now got off chat with customer support they CONFIRMED that the items are on a time lock until the 8th of September and there's nothing that can be done in the mean time. I can share the transcript if yall would like.

@hherget92277 What does a time lock mean here? They can't fix the issues before that date or the items are not given away until that date? Or something else?
Well depends on where here is for you... A time lock is where a company will basically "lock" the context for a certain amount of time, no different to when they do timed exclusives on consoles.
So it's just locked until the 8th of September

@hherget92277 "Here" as in this context of preorder bonus items. Why would they be locked to that date if that date is the end of the promo? And it was said they'd be available on 28th July, the release date of the Expansion Pack. Some people already got the items, after all. That's why I'm wondering what you or the support meant by the time lock.

The content should have been available for all platforms right as the pack released- it's not on a time-lock. Apologies for the confusion on that from live support.
We're currently investigating the missing preorder content, and working to get that rolled out for everyone. We'll be posting updates on this issue to this thread as we receive them.
You're right it should be, however the guys at the chat line have said otherwise, I've attached the screenshots I took of the chat from my case page where they clearly confirm it.
If you're stating this isn't the case then surely all the support staff should be made aware?

Can you please send some communication to EA Help people... The support is still telling people to contact the stores, without even mentiong the ongoing issue. This email (attachment) is from 2 hours ago.
