I have 2 copies of the Sims 4: One on Steam and one on the EA app.

I downloaded the Sims 4 originally on Steam and Steam only, and of course, it came with the EA app. But then I got to thinking: Why do I even need Steam to launch it when I have the official EA app? ...

@yafuunii06 It sounds like your saves and other missing content might be in the "wrong" Sims 4 folder, as in, not the one the game is reading. Here's how to find that folder:

Steam and EA App installs use the same folder, so you can choose whichever type of install you prefer.
