i have to redownload the sims once I have a new comp? Will my old games be on it

Do you mean your saves?
No, you have to move them manually from your old computer.

They're located here:

C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves

Copy the Saves-folder from your old computer, and put it in the same place in your new one. You need to start the game one time on the new computer before this, otherwise the The Sims 4 folder will not exist.

You might also want to copy the Tray folder (same location). The things in your Tray folder are lots, rooms and households you have in your library. If you want screenshots and videos they also need to be moved.

You can put them on a usb or an external hard drive.
Or if that's not a possibility but you have internet, you can zip the folders and email them to yourself, or upload them to OneDrive or Google drive etc if they're too big to email.

I made a picture on how to zip but my computer is in swedish.. Right-click the folder, choose Send to > Compressed Folder. Not 100% sure that the words are exactly that but something like it. Otherwise look at the icons (folder with a zipper).

This will create a new "folder" called saves, that is treated as a single file (you cannot email a normal folder, but a compressed/zipped one is fine). Then in your new computer, download the zipped folder, then double-click it, choose extract and then extract all, and you can choose where to put it 🙂 

So I created this zip folder, do I send that to myself? And do I use that method for other things I wished to transfer over? Thanks!

Yes that's correct. But it seems you've only zipped one file? You can zip the whole folder if you want everything. Or maybe you named it that yourself? 🙂

Oh okay, I have a folder that's compressed called 'saves' now, It tried to select them all at first but it only compressed one. 

Alright it was too large so it became a google drive, are you actually able to email yourself or do I do it to a diff account?

No you can email yourself, it works fine 🙂
If you upload it to drive the link is enough. Just make sure is has uploaded everything before you download on your other computer.

I have a question I hope you can answer regarding this same topic. My SIMS4 would not let me open it, I tried everything so I made a copy like your instructions indicated.   I then removed SIMS4 and origin and then reinstalled,  then added my files back and SIMS4 now works but its as if I am starting from scratch and it does no see or recognize my files.  I cant figure out how to fix my issue.  Any ideas?  Thank you in advance.
