I have too many mods in my mods folder for the Sims 4

At first, I couldn’t open the Sims. Whenever I tried, in would just open Origin and stay there. So I looked it up and I watched a video that told me to make a new folder. So I did. And then the Sims opened up. But my problem is that when it opens, all of the cc I put into a different mods folder was gone. So I had naked Sims and loads of things missing from builds. Is there a way I can keep all my cc and mods and expand the  capacity of my mods folder?

If you still have your old The Sims folder then copy from your old mods folder your mods and CC and paste it in the new, empty mods folder.

First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method.

You have to find the culprits - old outdated  CC, mods and delete it. After this, the game will work - to the next patch, of course, After each patch, you probably will have to check if your mods and CC still work.

    I don't work for EA
