Seamphony I have seen a lot of cases where products from CD Keys didn't work outright, or the code did work initially but was later removed by EA because there was fraud somwhere along the pipeline. (That doesn't mean the user committed fraud, only that the code wasn't legimately obtained.) I've seen other cases where users didn't get the bonus content from a new Sims 4 expansion. That doesn't mean it will happen to you this time around, only that it's always a risk.
It's also worth noting that when a third-party seller is offering a lower price than you'd get directly from EA, that seller is still presumably making money, so it has to be obtaining the codes for less than its sales price. That alone makes you wonder how that happens.
If you're comfortable with that risk, that's your choice. I personally wouldn't do it.
