What happens if you reload the game?
Just had someone else with this problem. But they saved the game:
From what I understand it's not possible to delete it:

But I found a post on the official forums where someone used a mod to delete it:

You could try that, but I'm not sure on the link nor the mod.
If you do try it, make sure to make a backup of your game how it is now:
http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/backups/
And let me know if it works, or if you find another way to fix this..
