I pressed verify integrity of game files on steam...

and when i reloaded into origin and deleted the "old" sims 4 file (with cc), the "new" file (w/o cc) is not there!  i have deleted sims and redownloaded it from steam again, there is still no file. ...

Did you delete your save file @shackajedi?

    @EA_Darko no i made a backup copy, but the new file wont showup everytime i reset the game.

    the backup is on my desktop btw

      Have you created a new game and then replaced it with the back up save @shackajedi?
