I was wondering if I accidentally deleted an item, a character, a Sims that the game gave me in the Library in the Gallery. Then I had a need to reinstall windows and install the sims again. Will it ...

@lostman4 There's a file called TrayDeletedItems in your doc folder if you delete EA Sims/houses from the library.

If you delete that file, you will have everything back. There's no way to get only certain Sims/Houses back but you can just re-delete the ones you didn't want.

If you replace your user files with your backuped ones, they will not be back as the file is still there. If you start from scratch with new user folder, everything will be back.

    @crinrict Means that the items that come with the game Like the characters on the game cover The house that the developer created, if deleted and I reinstalled the game to start. Will it come back?

      @lostman4 Depends if you downloaded them from the gallery to put in your gallery (the ones that don't come with the game library already) or if you're talking about the few that are in the library by standard.

      If you downloaded something from the maxis account to your library, you will need to do so again.

      For the ones that come with the game and are in the library from start, see my answer above.

        @crinrict It means that the items in the gallery that come with the game. Like the Sims characters on the game cover. The house that the developer created, if deleted and I reinstalled the game to start. Will it come back? (In case I reinstall windows without the old data)
