If I enable mods, exit the game, and reopen, the box for it is unchecked again

I am following the regular procedure to enable mods/cc, I hit apply changes, it says the game needs to restart for that to take effect. So I exit the game and open it back up, and the box to check fo...

HI @raggsbow 

try the follwing steps

  1. Close the game
  2. Move this file to the desktop: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\options(.ini)
  3. Restart your game
  4. You need to reset all setting again but hopefully only once.
  5. Save everything, close the game
  6. Start the game and check if it now stays checked.
  7. If it does, please update your options.ini file that caused the issue (that's now on your desktop) to your post. I'd like to check it out.
  8. You can then delete the file from your desktop. It's no longer needed.
