I would not go with an i3. They tend to have overheating issues. Get a i5 or i7

Hello,
Your laptop meets the minimum requirements, and should be able to play at low settings. However, there have been a number of people having problems with The Sims 4 on Intel Integrated graphics, which you have, therefore the performance may not be good. To be honest, I do not think Intel Integrated graphics will be supported in the future as expansion packs and patches are added.
