What they would do if there is anything corrupted in the files for origin and something left behind in the systems after you updated to Windows 10 they would take care of it.

Hmm, I followed the instructions to do a manual uninstall (in fact, whenever I saw an Origin Games entry I deleted those as well) and then used CCLEANER to clean nearly everything I could checkmark. Still no luck.
When I re-installed Origin after all this cleanup it knew what my account info was and logged me in automatically. I figure I may have missed something when cleaning the registry, as I'm pretty sure it shouldn't have remembered the account info. When I re-installed Sims 4 and tried it, same error message.
