I keep getting a startup error whenever I attempt to open my game. I have deleted the Sims 4 several times and even deleted the entire EA app, yet the issue hasn't been resolved. I have no mods or saves in my game, so I have no idea what could be causing this issue.

arssmith This error is usually antivirus-related. So please set exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64; or the entire Bin folder they're in. You may also need to repair the game: open your EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.
at mine it says i can only manage on steam but i cant find where to click on that on steam
Silas201577 The repair option in Steam is called "Verify integrity of the game files" and should be somewhere like Properties > Local files, although I think it's moved recently.
