Installed EPs missing

Thus Tuesday  I put my laptop back into service after a couple of years of idleness.  As expected, the Sims 4 needed updating, including content.  Once all was again up to date, launched the game and discovered that the fairies EP, Adventure Awaits EP, and Dynasties EP were not showing up in game.  On the EAapp side, everything owned is shown as installed but on the game side the 3 worlds are greyed out with the message, 'World not installed.  When this pack has finished downloading start the Sims 4 to install it.'

Tonight, the situation on the laptop was unchanged.  Went to my desktop machine, which as of Monday had everything showing up in game and had been actively played in the worlds of those packs.  Now the desktop shows the same missing games as the laptop.  That something present Monday is gone Thursday is more than aggravating.

What broke and what can be done to fix it?  Repairing did nothing.
