Again, let me say thank you for your kindness, patience and help. I did as your last post suggested and repaired the files, still got the error code. So then I went back to your first reply and did the Command Prompt and ran the scan, it came up with "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations". I then went to start up my game and still got the error code in the subject line. I was so hoping the matter had been resolved! Is there anything else to try?

I'm sorry, my game is still not working and I've done everything you've said. I guess I will try live chat tomorrow because I am at a loss here and it's been a week since I've been able to play the game. I sincerely appreciate all you've done. Since nothing has worked in my particular circumstances, I don't feel as if it would be right for me to accept anything as a solution, but do want you to get "credit" or whatever else you should get for trying your best to help me. Just let me know what that might be and again, thanks for everything, you've been very helpful and kind.

Yes, an Advisor can walk you through more troubleshooting steps, hopefully to the point of resolution.

Barry, I know you have done what you can and I appreciate your assistance but, I am still having the same problem with my game. I've run every scan known to man, uninstalled and re-installed at least a half dozen times did every step the live chat tech told me to do, unfortunately our chat was cut off before we were done and I could not resume it. So, I left a message at the service center or whatever it is for EA to call me and I waited over 2 hours and no call. Returned to see if I could contact someone and the message I got was that my case was closed.
I would like some help in getting my game working as it's been 2 weeks now and it would certainly be nice if I were able to play this game I paid so much for.Is there any way I could possibly get some help from someone, somewhere please?

Please run the following two files from the default locations below, the path will be different if you did not install the game to its default drive/folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x64.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x86.exe
