Invalid License Reason code = Missing DLL: (msvpc 120.dll) Error 0xc1

I've done everything I can to fix this problem (starting here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/Sims-4-Error-to-start/m-p/3446221#M75759) but my game will not start up, it was fine until this past week when I got the error stated above in the subject line.
My computer is a Gateway laptop with a 2.0 Intel Duo Core Processor. The OS is Windows 7 Service Pack 1 with Intel HD Pentium Graphics. I tried to find more specs but I can't seem to locate this information.

Your help will be much appreciated!

Please run the following two files from the default locations below, the path will be different if you did not install the game to its default drive/folder:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x64.exe

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x86.exe

Let me know if you continue to have an issue with that error message 🙂
