Invisible objects

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.67.45.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place an object down, go into live mode, back to build mode, delete the object, when trying to place another object in the same spot it thinks the previous object is still there. With me it happens when trying to place toddler beds where cribs used to be
What happens when the bug occurs? New objects cannot be placed where an old object was
What do you expect to see? No phantom objects
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

When I place new objects (ex. A toddler bed) in place of a deleted object (ex. A crib) the game thinks the crib is still there and I cannot place the toddler bed without move objects

    @lissrupp Did you ever try repairing your game ? I tried this in my game and can't duplicate.

    My whole catalogue is showing fine but when I go to select and place anything, I can't because nothing shows on the grid. The items aren't invisible...they're just not there. The last time that happened, the catalogue was blank so I couldn't select anything to place because there was nothing there. I've repaired the game via Origin. I've removed some of the mods I'm not too bothered about but I HATE that, every time the game update, all my CC and mods breaks. Then I have to spend ages trying to figure out what the problem is. I ned u[ with duplicates of things I've downloaded because there's a broken file and a new file until I can filter through them. It's just so annoying for a game I've spent SO much money on that's not as good to play without mods and CC.
