Is it possible to load the progress i had on console?

I bought the Sims 4 for Xbox One originally, but stopped playing for a while. Now that it's free to play, I installed it in my PC, but only the "create a new sim" option is available. I'm using the same EA account i had at the time, so, wouldn't my progress be saved in my account?

To be honest, that isn't the worst thing. I bought the disc edition incluiding the DLC "Cats & Dogs", but there's no DLC registered... If the progress is lost it's okay, but where's my DLC?

  • @Sixproshooter  You can't transfer saves from a console to a computer or vice versa, so no, your progress can't be loaded.  EA also doesn't store Sims 4 save data on its servers.  The cloud saving option isn't even available for Sims games.

What you can do is save your console sims to the Gallery, then download them onto your computer.  You'd still be placing the sims in a new save where they didn't know anyone, but they'd keep most of their progress.

Packs also don't transfer between platforms.  If you want to play Cats & Dogs on PC, you'll need to buy it a second time.
