@Grimghost13089 Are you talking about the user files or the game core files? The user files are created after the game is first started and if you delete those files they will be recreated the next time the game starts. The core game files should be removed by uninstalling the game. Just deleting files doesn't always (seldom) remove all the files and a corrupt installation can cause issues. Uninstalling assures you won't delete important files. After uninstalling it is safe to delete the user files in the user documents folder.
Probably the core game files, I saved and backed up my files in the document folder which contained my saves etc. These aren't the files in the documents folder, theyre deeper and all the folders are titled EP01, so represents the packs. I uninstalled the game and I thought it would automatically remove the data in \Programmefilesx86\ but they're still there. I assume that if I delete them they will be recreated when I reinstall the game.
@Grimghost13089 Yes, you can delete these files. I've seen Origin install a second set of the game's program files, not the entire thing but a substantial portion, on a computer where I changed the default install location for Origin games. (Others have reported this as well.) If you did the same, perhaps Origin reacted the same way.
Regardless, these are program files and you can delete them. You'll get back all the game data you need if and when you reinstall.
