Issue with mouse/sliders in CAS
Hello. I'm having an odd problem that I've never had before. In CAS, when I go to edit a body part (click and drag), typically there is some resistance which allows me to get a finer detail. Like, the resistance lets me get a more moderate feature and I have enough control to get the exact feature I want. But I haven't played since the newest patch (with the redesign), and now when I go to click and drag a body part, there's no resistance when I'm dragging so It kind of slides to the extreme ends of how I can edit that feature. When trying to make small adjustments it feels like my cursor slides, and I cannot get average features.
i.e. if I go to edit the bridge of the nose, if I want to give the sim a flat nose, the mouse pulls to the extreme end and gives me an extremely hooked nose or if I push it in I get an extremely curved nose.
If I go to rotate my Sim in CAS, what would normally spin them a bit to the right now makes several 360 degree spins very fast. If I go to edit their posture, I cannot get any setting other than extremely slouched or extremely poised, and my mouse drifts up and off of the screen with just the smallest movement.
I've taken my mods out, and it does not change anything. I have tried several mouses, and I have tried the track pad and all of it behaves the same way. I've edited mouse settings and trackpad settings, tried windowed and fullscreen and I'm still having this issue. I tried to repair my game and the issue persists.
I've played enough sims that I feel like I can confidently say this isn't normal for my game. But I have no idea what to do, and nobody else seems to have this issue? Help is much appreciated.
