Issue with the event?

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm having an issue with one of the tasks on Week 2 of the current challenge.

It says I need to repair something with Lvl 2 or higher Handiness. My Sim has maxed this out, however the other suggestions like upgrade an item or read books on handiness don't count towards it, and I have no broken items despite my best attempts. I think this is my last task  of this week's challenge so it's proving a little annoying.
