Laptop Help!

Well, my old, beloved 10 year old laptop is finally beginning to give up the ghost, and since Cyber Monday is here, I thought it was finally time to get a new one. The Sims 3 & 4 are the only games I...

@Fluteline24  Among these three laptops, the first one is significantly better than the others, to the point where I wouldn't consider either of the others at all.  It should run both Sims 3 and 4 on ultra graphics settings, and it's a good deal for the hardware as well.  The one catch is for Sims 3, you'll need to apply one of these workarounds to get the game running at all:

That's true of most decent Intel processors from the last couple years; trying to avoid it would mean buying an older or lower-end Intel CPU or a model from AMD.  And the game should run fine with a workaround in place, so it's not a reason to pick a different laptop.

Do you specifically want a Dell computer?  If so, this is likely as good an option as you'll see in your price range.  Even if you're open to other options, I'm not sure I could find anything clearly better, although I'd be happy to look if you're interested in seeing other laptops.  Let me know either way.

And if you have more questions in general, please feel free to ask.
