Laptop Mode Not Turning Off

Whenever I turn off laptop mode in the options it says to restart the game.Whenever I do restart the game,when I turn it on it is on again. Anyone able to help?

    Hi  @Steel_Z3R0

    sounds like your options(.ini) file corrupted. You'll find the file in documents\electronicarts\thesims4

    Can you move the file to the desktop and then start the game again ? All your options will be reset to default settings and you'll need to re-set them one more time.

    They should then stick when you restart your game again.
