I downloaded The Sims 4 from Steam and tried to open it - it opened, loaded the title page and gem animation but then froze and the window just closed and disappeared. Tried again several times and is not loading. Did have problems with the game file being corrupted/mods but fixed that. Unsure what to do?
Never installed mods or cc but game did come with one file in mods folder which I removed.
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

Honeyleaf_01 If you still need help, please try again to attach a dxdiag. A standard .txt file should work. If it doesn't, upload the entire file to a third-party filesharing site and link it here.
