@John_Zonbi I've had a lot (and I mean a lot) of trouble with Sims 3 and the EA app. If you lost Origin just reinstall Origin and see if the game runs right. I reinstalled Origin and then my Sims game updated and repaired and started running right IF I launched from Origin. Ahem (cough - cough) - me thinks the new app may need some tweaking. I think EA is aware of the problem and Lenny and Squiggy are hard at work at it. Hopefully this will get your game running right.

Hello @John_Zonbi
There was an EA App update released today that may have fixed this issue. If you're still seeing this problem after updating EA App, let us know.

I have a similar issue. After receiving the EA App, Sims 3 was no longer playable. I contacted Help and the man in chat help sent an automated type response saying they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
So, I switched to Sims 4, which I rarely play. It worked great for a couple days, though I kept seeing something about Get To Work. I ignored it. Today when I tried to play Sims 4 I got a warning saying I need Get to Work, or my game could end up corrupted. When I clicked on Get to Work, it says 'You already Own this".
I contacted EA Help and was supposed to receive a phone call. It never came.
Just tried Sims 4 again, after repairing the game, and it loaded fine... but went back to a save from yesterday afternoon. I lost maybe 8 hours of game play. I didn't save the loaded game. Waiting for some help.
Thanks.
