launcher problems

for the past two days i have been trying to play the sims 4 except whenever i go to launch it the launcher says the game is already running when it isnt and i wanted to make sure it wasnt one of my mods i tried my other games and found that all of my games have the same problem and it isnt a configure problem of a background problem i have also rest ea and my computer nothing and what brings me here is that the reporting system for ea says it has an error whenever i try and report is so this is my last resort
