@carlz85 The Lenovo at Currys isn't a bad option, but you could still do a bit better. For £450, you could get a Lenovo with the same hardware as the one you found:
Or you could get an Asus with the same hardware, except for a much larger hard drive. The 256 GB solid state drive in the Lenovo is large enough for Sims 4; your saves, mods, custom content, etc.; and plenty of small apps, e.g. browsers and music players. But if you want to play other games, or store more data on the hard drive, you may want a 512 GB drive instead.
The same Lenovo as above, except with the larger 512 GB SSD, is £478:
The other option is a laptop with a newer Intel processor. Performance in Sims 4 should be equivalent, so this is more about your preference, if something else stands out to you. This one has a 256 GB SSD and is available on a few different sites.
