Loading Screen

So for the past, probable 3 days, when I have tried to play the Sims 4 on my laptop, it hasn't worked. It will load partially, and show the "maxis" screen and then the "the sims 4" screen with the plumbob, but before it shows the final loading screen with the game tips and the spinning plumbob, it is unresponsive. I've never had this problem before, or many other problems with my game. Im not that sure what to do, because I realy love the sims and want to play again soon. Have any Ideas what to do?
