Logitech Lightsync not updating after game re-gains focus

I am enjoying the Lightsync integration introduced in the Neighborhood Stories patch. However, I have noticed a small, but annoying issue that if I switch back to the game while a save game is loaded, the coloring does not update to what the game says it should until the game pushes another update due to the emotion changing in-game.

Now, I understand that switching out of the game breaks the connection to the keyboard, but on switching back in, the game should re-push the last update so that the keyboard doesn't show the wrong colors.

Edit: I forgot to mention I'm using a Logitech G815 keyboard with firmware version 131.2.18 and Logitech G Hub version 2021.12.4779 (automatic updates are on). Also, my Sims mods are turned off and have not been enabled since the patch.

    @bradnak 

    There was a G Hub update recently.  Are you still seeing this issue after updating G Hub (to version 2021.13.2906 or higher).

    I have updated G Hub to version 2021.13.2906 and I am still seeing this issue. I have found however that switching control of Sims within the household makes it update the keyboard, especially when they have different emotions. I realise this is a workaround, not a fix though.

    @bradnak So far the team hasn't been able to reproduce what you described. In your original post, when you said "switch back to the game while a save game is loaded", was the game minimized and then you returned to it? Also do you run the game in fullscreen or windowed mode?

    I usually Alt-tab out from the game. I run the game in Windowed Fullscreen mode, but to get to other windows on the same monitor I use Alt-tab.

    I've searched the forum and not found the answer to this yet.

    Dynamic keyboard lighting will work when I first launch ts4, but if i tab out (or click on another window) the keyboard lighting reverts to its default profile. The Logitech G hub will say that the lighting is being managed by ts4.exe but it clearly isn't.

    I've only downloaded the G hub software today as the keyboard is brand new, so everything is all up to date with regards to that. It does seem like it'll be another issue that's down to Logitech rather than TS4 but even so I thought I'd try here first.

    Having read back through the comments, my issue and setup are identical to OP’s.
