Ever since the Lovestruck base game update, I haven't been able to save in-game. It will always, no matter what, freeze on the load screen, and I have to forcefully end the program and lose all progress. It will save in Build Mode and in CAS, but not in-game.Someone suggested I switch from Dx9 to Dx11; I followed y'all's tutorial on doing that:https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/DirectX-11-DX11-for-The-Sims-4-A-Step-by-Step-Guide/td-p/13711976However... once I did the "-Dx11" thing and opened the game again, now it immediately crashes whenever I try to ender Build Mode. @ACduousDCduous That's only half the dxdiag, and half the interesting info. But it does bring up one suggestion: try forcing the game to run in DirectX 11 mode if it's not already. You can see which mode it's using at the Main Menu, in the lower-right corner, to the right of the version number. It'll say DX9 or DX11.

If you see DX9, right-click the desktop, select the Nvidia Control Panel, choose Manage 3D Settings > Program settings, find TS4_Launcher_x64 on the list, and select the high-performance Nvidia processor. Repeat for TS4_x64. If this alone doesn't force DX11 mode, specify the Nvidia processor under Global settings, at least as a test.

If this doesn't help with the crashing, please create a new dxdiag, upload it to a free filesharing site, and link it here. Make sure "anyone with the link" can view it.

NOW it's letting me attach the file. It wouldn't let me post the full text last time 'cause there's a word limit. I'm not sure what you mean by "right-click the desktop." The game is currently running Dx9.
