[MAC] I installed the get to work expansion pack and it will not play

I am using a mac. When I click play it acts as if its loading then returns to the home screen. I have cleaned the cache and re-installed the expansion. All of my other games work fine. Why is it quitting before it loads?

With homescreen do you mean the main menu or the map ?

it returns to the map with the three worlds to chose from.
