[MAC] Sims 4 get to work

I have brought the sims 4 get to work for mac. I started downloading it 2 days ago, as i came back to see if it had finish the download was no where to be seen, i tried to install it again and it came up saying the code was already used ! this is a new game. please help

    Try shutting down and rebooting your computer. It sounds as if something is interfering with the download.
