I use a mac. I used to be able to cheat motives such as the "make happy" motive and the "enable motive decay" but as of recent I can't even get those options to pull up. I can get the menu to pop up with shift+ctrl+c but I can't do anything after that. Any info as to why this is or how I can fix it would be great! Thanks!
What version of OS X are you running?
Let's go through the cheat console steps just to make sure -
Bring up the cheat console, click in the box and type in:
testingcheats true
and hit enter. You should see confirmation it worked:
Hit Esc to get rid of the cheat console then hold down Shift and click on your Sim, you'll see four options:
Click on Cheat Need... and you'll get the three options:
