Managed to fix my problem where it crashes during launch after update

Holy cannoli it worked for me too! I've been having laptop issues, then connection issues, so when I finally got everything fixed & the game wouldn't even open I LITERALLY almost cried. Then I found this, tried it, & cue the hallelujah chorus IT WORKED! I'm so happy I may cry anyway lol.
