@Winchestersquerl Do you have a large number of blank households in your Other Households list? You can check by opening Manage Worlds > Manage Households > Other Households.
Please also let me know how large your current save file is (in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves) and how much RAM the game uses when you're playing that save. You can see RAM use in the Task Manager.

@Winchestersquerl There is a specific bug that creates a large number of blank households, not ones you play for a day and leave but households where the preview that would normally show the sims is instead totally blank. This is the master thread:
You can see what the blank households look like in the second post on page one. But I didn't want to merge your post into that thread unless you first confirmed that this was in fact your issue. There are other reasons Sims 4 can lag, and if you have a different problem, we can troubleshoot that instead.
no,the lagging begins when I load the family i want to play. the loading for the family takes over 30 minutes. when i am finaly there, everything takes long even decorating, 10 min. per poster
