Community ManagerMemory boost activated itself on the second to last update for me. I did not activate it, it just turned itself on. If this is not intended, that's probably a bug.
I only found out it was activated because my game was lagging so much (it never lagged before), so I went to see if settings had been changed in the update, and found memory boost on. Turned it back off and the lagging went away immediately. Reactivating it made the lagging return. Sims stood around doing nothing, pie menues took forever to load, interactions cancelled and reset, graphics stuttered. Without memory boost my game runs smoothly without any of these issues at my chosen settings.
Win 10 on extended support, 8GB RAM, Nvidia graphic card with 4 GB graphics memory.
