Merging Steam/Xbox/EA?

I bought packs through Origin, in-game (on PC and through the XBox app), and on Steam. Yes, a mess. Everything is linked to my singular Origin/EA Account. But the packs show up differently regardless of where I launch The Sims 4. Is there a way to merge all of my purchases into one singular game? I don't want my money going to waste and would like to have all of my packs on my account.

  • @alixc1ark  If you install Sims 4 through Steam, you'll be able to install all the packs you own in the EA App, and they'll work just as if you owned them in Steam.  However, there is no way to use your XBox-owned packs on PC or vice versa.  DLC doesn't transfer between PC/Mac and console.

  • Logan53015  If this is about transferring between console and PC/Mac, my guess would be never.  The fact that content doesn't transfer is by design and is probably a financial decision as much as anything else: EA has to share console-related profits with the console manufacturers but can keep all the profits from PC/Mac sales to itself.  EA probably wouldn't want to miss out on the PC-related profits, nor would it want to pay Sony or Microsoft to allow PC users to play the same content on their consoles.

There are a couple of master threads (info and feedback) about transferring packs here, if you're interested in continuing the conversation:
