Missing Buildings

So, I've known that people have had this issue before where they build a house or a lot of some sort and then when they go back to play that building is missing. I've tried the whole take all the saved information out from the game folder and onto my computer reloading the game to make sure that the buildings do appear and when that works out putting all the old saved info back into the new ones created by the 'reboot' per say. I did it once it worked. Then I hadn't played the game for a couple weeks everything was working fine I was building a new house. Then after 2 nights of working on it I come back to it erased. I do the above following and then it brought back my family and everything but not my house. Which what ever. So I buy a cheap house for now move on to just playing the game and send her to work and the police station is missing. Original problem I had to find out the solution. Do the same thing it erases everything all together. So I start fresh buy a new home that's prebuilt and when it goes to the lot to play its gone seconds within me viewing it on the world map and buying it..... Is there a better long lasting solution or fix for this??? Its really irritating and I love playing the game but its starting to get to the point where I just want to chuck it if this keeps happening! HELP!
