Ghostyhero A Steam install would be here by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4
And it shouldn't interfere with the game's program files. So I'm not sure why your data disappeared. But it could still be OneDrive-related, so please see the relevant sections of this post:
