after double checking my mods folder I forgot to remove the Tmex-BetterBuildBuy mod which was causing this issue, as soon as I removed this mod the issue was fixed in all saves hopes this helps

Yes, I have updated TOOL as well as BBB. I haven't touched the Household Inventory since my last post and haven't had any issue with the 'travel glitch' since.
One thing though, I did find that I can safely remove things by selling from the Household Inventory; selling things from there does not seem to 'trigger' the glitch. It seems to me that the action of putting things Into and Taking Things Out Of the Household Inventory is what 'triggers' the 'travel glitch'.
I will keep you posted on any further findings. 😉

Just a little 'report' on the 'travel glitch'. I believe I found a 'work around'.
When in Build Buy Mode, one can go into their Household Inventory and sell things off just fine, as I have reported previously. I just did some further 'testing' on this, and was selling some things from the Household Inventory and decided to switch over to the Buy Catalog prior to exiting Build Buy Mode and it worked just fine. 🙂
So, it seems that the 'travel glitch' is narrowed down/happens when one is trying to get back into Live Mode DIRECTLY from the Household Inventory after placing items from the Household Inventory into the world; at least this is what has caused it for me.
Hope this is helpful and I'll report any further findings as I find them. 🙂
EDIT: I just found another related 'issue' with this 'travel glitch'. I placed a CC Candle down on a table and as soon as I went and tried to switch back to Live Mode, the sim that was selected at the time of my placing the candle was then Immediately thrown into Traveling, this time to a random event 'Hangout with Family' at the selected Sim's Uncle's House.
