MODS/CC: Maxis doesn't support mods

Hi Everyone! 

Since the new kits, I have had some strange things going on with my game.

So while playing my first game with the new kits feature, I wasn't able to see my building cc. However, my CAS cc was still working on my Sim.

Then I changed the settings to don't allow cc, and then I changed it back. Somehow my building cc and CAS cc were working again. 

The next day I wanted to play the Sims again and I got this notification that said: Maxis doesn't support modifications, use carefully. Followed by a list of a lot of cc.

But I started my game and some CAS items were still working and even some script mods such as slice of life were still playable.

So again, I changed the settings and changed it again, but it didn't work.

Can someone help me out?
