Money cheats not working

do other cheats work ? Do you have any mods/cc in your game ?

I have had a similar problem to this what helped me is fully restarting my computer, because just closing the game did nothing for me at least. Then make sure you have cheats enabled, because when you keep the sims running, but go on to other activities, ive found the cheats turn off.
