Mouse Cursor Disappears/Becomes Invisible

I am having issues with the CAS for Sims 4, and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but the problem remains-

The issue I'm having is that my mouse cursor is no where to be seen, so I can't even get into the game past the main menu... Can ANYONE please help me?

    I managed to fix the issue, for me I had to turn off the mouse trail in my laptop settings which seemed to get rid of the problem.

    thanks, this fixed the problem for me. was just awkward as I could only make out where the cursor was when options were highlighted.

    EA should post this to all users and their help team / techs.  I spent countless HOURS on the phone and in front of my pc running all EA's emailed to me supposed Bull$hit fix protocols.

    And, it was the mouse trailer function all the time......EA tech sucks.

    My cursor disappeared after loading Mass Effect 3.  I uninstalled the game, the Razor mouse, and reinstalled all.  No fix.  I turned off the mouse trails in mouse properties and that fixed my problem.
