Move Sims 4 to D drive

right now, my Sims 4 folder + Electronic Arts folder are in my C drive, & since i have a lot of space on my D drive, i would like to move my Sims 4 content there. However; i've been unable to find a tutorial easy to follow & i have no one to reach out to if i start having issues. there's also many different tutorials & i'm not sure which ones are safe to follow.

if anyone knows some easy tutorials to follow, send them my way? thanks!

@puzzlezaddict hey, so i followed the steps in those instructions you gave me and the cmd prompt keeps saying The syntax of the command is incorrect.

the only difference i keep seeing is the command starts with: C:\Users\hetom rather than C:\WINDOWS\system32 (my pc is a 64 bit which i'm assuming that will replace that 32). other than that, i dont know what i'm doing wrong.

@masciatto  Please post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window showing the command you entered and the result.  Please also confirm the location where you want the folder to go as well as the current location of the Documents directory.  For the latter, enter this into Command Prompt:

reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"

    and post the result.
