My Custom Content is turned into a notepad. Help?

I have loads of CC and suddenly it's turned from a blank white to a notepad. No matter what I do, I can't change it. I haven't tried to move them to the mod folder because I don't trust them. I w...

I deleted the file but it didnt make a new one.

Your folder seems to be on your desktop, not in your documents, which is a problem. The game will not find the mods if they're in the wrong folder. Please put them in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
