has anyone told you how to fix this problem?
I found it in a thread that I didn't think had to do with my problem. LOL So all is good now. 🙂

I looked at your post history and figured out that you meant the sims 4. I moved your post from the Origin section to here. I am also including a link to the solution in case the poster that replied to you was discussing the same game and needed help with it. The answer can be found here .

This is an ORIGIN problem and NOT a Sims 4 problem. I wish support/moderators took more care when stating such things when moving a thread. This started only after I reinstalled Origina and now one of the answers is to reinstall origin. This is poor programming and putting the fix on the users. This is unacceptable. I am paying you, people, to program all associated programs properly. Putting fixes into the hands of the users is unacceptable. Either fix your programs or lose your customers.
As a programmer of 20 + years and supporting my customer base, the answers here are uncaring and disrespectful to the user population.

I had this problem with my Sims 4 game and I noticed that if anything else OR DLC is installing while trying to play it wont let you click play. Now this is November 17th 2017 this has occurred so it could be different from when this was posted. I hope you resolve your problem thanks
