My game is freezing

Basically every time I try to boot up the game on an external hard drive or not on the external hard drive and on the laptop itself the bootup screen will be fully animated for a split second then the loading screen will be laggy as soon as it hits the main menu it just stops working it completely freezes and not even the cursor works and to make anything happen as the cursor move I have to exit out of the window and go back on to refresh it and even then the cursor only really gets a split second movement before it refreezes I have tried everything I've repaired the game I've tried taking it off of external hard drive I've removed mods my trays my cash I've deleted the local thumbnail Drive uninstalling the game and the EA app and reinstalling it and repairing it nothing has worked
