Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Unable to Start, Game Data Missing or Damaged

Whenever I try to launch the game, I get the error 'cannot start because game data is missing or damaged'

I have tried the following and it still does not work:

1. reinstalled the game and ea app
2. repaired game files
3. installed on a new drive
4. updated my graphics drivers
5. repaired the actual drives (no errors drive wise)
6. tried the method where you make a duplicate save file
7. tried to launch through steam
8. cleared cache

I don't know what else to try, there is nothing else online that is suggested. Help please!!!
