My game says my packs are missing but EA app and steam says they are there
I took my computer to get repaired for missing drivers, it turned out. Everything was perfect and my technician did not touch EA or Steam or Sims 4. But now I have 14 packs and kits that keep going missing and yet coming back but not loading into the actual game. I am also having trouble with the app updating the same pack, Carnival Streetwear Kit, over and over and never quits.
I have cleared my cache in the app and rebooted my computer. I also uninstalled both EA app and the Steam app and reinstalled both. Nothing is working. I have to log into the game through Steam because all the app wants to do is update.
I have included screenshots of the problem.
Also, I did rebuy the missing content for the 3rd time. Missing content is not the first time it's happened to me. The last few times my answer from Help was rebuy them.
@mysticfairy1 Please do a clean uninstall of Sims 4 and the EA App, as described here:
Reinstall the game only through Steam, not the EA App. When you've done so, open the EA App and download any packs you own there, but NOT a second copy of the base game. These packs should download into the Steam version of Sims 4 and work as if you'd installed them directly through Steam.
Let me know if any content is missing once you're done with this process.
Separately, what content have you had to purchase more than once?
