My Game Wont Launch

I remember a few weeks/months ago I had this problem, I fixed said problem, but now its back again and I'm coming here to see if I can fix it for good. My game wont launch. Steam says it's runni...

    Upon further testing and research... OMG i needed directX for this game to function, why my pc didnt have it by defult i'll never know

@FaithTV_ Also a little note, I had to download DirectX off Microsoft so I could do the DxDiag command because for some unknown reason I didn't have it... Out of curiosity I tried to launch the game again... and it did? but idk if that's the problem fixed or not, if this really started from not having DirectX I'm going to be upset, not at Microsoft or EA, but mad at the situation. Though if the DxDiag tells you anything I'd appricate knowing if something is there that shouldnt be or some thing...

    @FaithTV_  Sims 4 does need DirectX 9 or 11 in order to run, but if at least one of these hadn't ever been present on your system, you wouldn't have been able to play in the first place.  And the EA App installs DX9 alongside the game itself.  So it's concerning that whichever version of DirectX you installed just now had previously disappeared.

    The Sims 4 crashes in your dxdiag point to a component of the Nvidia graphics driver, but that could have been because of the missing DX version as well.  Still, if you run into more trouble, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the Nvidia driver, as described here:
