My laptop keeps shutting off

Idk what keeps happening whenever I play the sims 4 my computer will randomly shut off after 10 minutes and my entire laptop will go off and it only happens when I have the charger in. This problem started when I downloaded windows 10 not to long ago . Someone help

    Games do not cause that symptom.  Overheating, no matter what software is running, is what causes it.  Clean all the vents and get a cooling pad to reduce the overheating.

    When you don't have the charger in, the computer usually uses a different energy profile then when you use the charger so it seems, that your computer is overheating (as Gorath says)
